Tres Leches Cake

I have this wonderful recipe! Tres Leches cake (meaning "3 milk" cake)! It is a traditional Mexican cake and every time I make it - everyone asks me for the recipe. So here it it is......for my readers. Try out this incredibly easy-to-make cake and it will soon become a family favourite.

One Duncan Hines Extra Moist cake Mix - mixed and baked according to package directions. I bake a sheet cake in a long low pan.

While the cake is baking - whisk up a can of sweetened condensed milk, evaporated milk and coconut milk. in a large bowl

When cake is done, poke holes in the top with a fork while still warm. Slowly pour about half the milk (or a little over half) over the top of the cake - letting it seep softly and gently over the cake and in the holes. Reserve the rest of the milk to serve as a sauce when serving a cake.

Just before serving - cut into squares and decorate each square with a squirt of canned whipping cream and a strawberry or other type of berry in the centre.

Trust me - this recipe will easily become a family favourite at all special occasion dinners.
